Chapter 31. A Hasty Decision

Liam returned home from college and thought of calling Alexander and demand an explanation first before leaving for work. He entered his bedroom and, closing the door, he dialled Alexander’s number and waited for him to pick up the call. After five calls, when he still didn’t accept his call, Liam gave up and got ready for work. The rest of the day, Liam was too busy with work and everything else escaped his mind. He returned home dead tired at dinnertime and felt surprised to see a fresher-looking Serenity sitting down with everyone, having dinner. His parents looked excited and Liam immediately knew something was up.

“Am I missing something?”

“We just informed Harry about Serenity’s decision and they’re coming over tomorrow evening to get them engaged. Harry and his wife Penny want a simple wedding and they cannot wait for a fortnight, so the wedding will happen two days after the engagement,” informed his mom. Liam’s jaws dropped with shock and he looked at his sister. H
