"Oh my god Sam! Pete Mirk just asked me to be on his show!" Megan yanks my arm and I snatch it away from her.

"I'm waiting for your answer, dear Megan."

"Yes! I would love to be on your show!" Megan responds and screams. "I'm gonna be on Pete Mirk's show!"

Seriously, I fail to understand why Megan is so excited. What's the big deal about being on an eating show? Pete Mirk's eating show to be precise. I would like to know what mom has to say about this, we all know how much she dislikes the show, and its host.
