Chapter 47

"Carl! What are you doing here?" I ask surprisedly.

"Megan and I have a playdate and she insisted she wanted to eat enchiladas from this particular diner," he answers. I look at Megan who is standing beside him and admiring Adrian, I didn't even notice her there.

"The enchiladas here are the best, dad loves bringing us here because of them," I say excitedly.

He looks at Adrian. "Good to see you again Adrian!"

"Good to see you too, Carl," Adrian responds.

"Hi Adrian Black! I'm Megan and I'm a huge fan, but my sister didn't let me follow her to her casting so I missed the chance to meet you then, I'm so glad the universe gave me another chance!" Megan hugs him.

"Me too," Adrian chuckles. "Sam is your sister?"

"Yeah, I also can't believe it."

"Come on, Megan. Sam's having a good time so let's not disrupt it. See you around, Adrian," Carl takes Megan's hand and leads her to the other side of the diner.
