Amelia’s POV

It’s been over a month since Nolan left to sort the whole thing out with Sophie and her family and there hasn’t been a single word from him ever since. As the days ticked past, I knew I had been right about him realizing he shouldn’t have left and that he was better off married to Sophie Croft.

I knew I was going to lose him but I had still let him go and now he was gone. For days, I was locked up in my room feeling miserable for myself and booked a flight at one time but mom refused to let me go. She insisted that he would come back for me and by that time, it was already clear that he wasn’t going to.
