Chapter 30. Bumped into Someone

Running away would not help Kylian, as vampires would sense his smell. He saw one dumpster on the side and entered inside to disguise his scent from being followed and caught. On the other hand, one vampire halted on the opposite road, looking for him, and since Kylian couldn’t be smelled and discerned in the area, the vampire ran, bossing him to another lane. Nonetheless, Kylian didn’t mind how he sat in the garbage, smelled terribly, and was pleased that the scent inside helped mask his odor.

Ten minutes passed. No vampires could be grasped around. He concluded to open the dumpster, jumped out, and coughed. He then moved while his mind was still floating, reckoning about his mother and Clover. He knew that Madison was still alive. Still, the city was immense, some vampires crept around, and it was too risky for him to do it alone. Thus, he returned to the cliff near the city and headed towards Lucas at Arleth’s grave, hoping he could see her there.
