Chapter 11. The Robbery
Giovanna arched an eyebrow. He was probably hoping to get her drunk, but she had already drunk a lot of wine after leaving Henrique's house and it had no effect on her.
She felt the space to stand up was too small, as he was right in front of her, but she did as he told her. He took the empty cup from her hand when she was centimetres away from him, and she smelled his pleasant scent when he threw the cup against the wall, without stopping to stare at her. She had to hold her head up to see his eyes. He was much taller than her. Giovanna didn't care to hear the expensive glass shattering on the wall. She was occupied with the sight of his lips. For the first time she felt like being kissed. But she had to get it through her head that he wasn't a boyfriend. He was a "client".
