Chapter 10. The Proposal
Luc almost couldn't believe it when she accepted his offer. He had thought she was pretty and wanted to play. It had never crossed his mind that she really was a prostitute. Her clothes weren't very inviting. It looked like a uniform. An orange shirt with buttons and a small slogan from some supermarket, and dark blue trousers. He didn't get involved with prostitutes, he just wanted to... He didn't know exactly what had prompted him to stop the car, nor what had prompted him to accept the offer, but ... She seemed lost. What did she want with a hundred thousand dollars? She didn't seem like the kind of woman who would sell her body. But he had been fooled by people's character before. What surprised him most was that she had agreed to pay. He never did. He looked at her out of the corner of his eye.
Her hair was tied up in a bun, but he could bet his fortune that it was long. And his desire to remove the clip that kept it in that hairstyle was too
