Chapter 12. Options
Luc sat up in bed, amused and victorious. How could she be so innocent? A car like his had a tracker even in the wheels. And she had done exactly what he wanted in order to find out why she was asking for a hundred thousand dollars. He knew now that she was being blackmailed. And she was by no means a prostitute. He removed the sheet and saw the blood. She was no ordinary young woman. If she hadn't been so fragile, he would have thought he was dealing with a werewolf, but... She didn't seem drunk on the wine he'd given her... What were that young woman's secrets? He took out his mobile phone and asked his friends who had been working with him since his father decided he needed security, and preparing a few more men and cars, set off in a caravan through the streets of Chicago after the car Luc was in, wearing sunglasses, following the tracker of the car the young woman had "borrowed". He looked over and saw that her money had been put in a silver case, just as he had asked. He smile
