Owen’s POV

With my brother and Chris in tow, I ran out of the yard and toward the prison block. When I got to the unit where Faye was being held, at least fifty of our own guards and ten soldiers attacked me. I told them to stop, but they were following what their Luna told them to do.

I snapped my neck because I was mad at my men. “I won’t think twice about killing any member of my pack who doesn’t do what I say. Stand down or move because I’m going through those doors one way or another.”

Kalix laughed at how strong I was, and Chris gave us another puzzled look. I know it looked like Kalix and I were both Alpha, but it was really more about respect. That was my friend in there, and I never thought Kalix would ask me to leave.
