Chapter 132. A Wife and a Good Thing

Carlos discovered quickly enough that it was, in fact, Clyde McCarthy working behind the scenes to ruin his company. He was pissed and immediately began planning revenge to make Clyde an example so no one in the underworld would, for some reason, believe that they could mess with Carlos and get away with it.

The plan was simple: elections were rolling in, and McCarthy would be all over the place trying to make sure everything went according to plan. Carlos intended to do everything he could to make sure that everything did not go according to plan. If Clyde McCarthy got around to becoming governor of the state of New York, life would definitely be a lot less pleasant for Carlos, and he intended to avoid that as much as he could.

Carlos got around to meeting his team, dedicated to bringing Clyde McCarthy down. No Named was sitting ridiculously close to Clark, and Carlos could not help but notice that there was a slightly odd look on Alfred’s face when he looked at them. C
