Chapter 139. The Woman in Her Room

Fiona had no intention of telling anyone about the woman she had found in her room. She had been in the bathroom getting ready because she intended to help the Leopard Seal de-stress. After over an hour in the bathroom, which had involved a good deal of singing, she stepped out to find the woman sitting on her bed. Her first instinct was to scream, but the woman pointed a gun at her, which turned out to be very effective in getting people to shut up.

She found out later that the gun had not been loaded, but it had already done the trick. The woman went ahead and introduced herself, then pulled Fiona towards her and sat her next to her on the bed. Fiona was still wrapped in a towel.

The woman told Fiona that her help was needed and that if she played her cards right, she had get out of the Leopard Seal’s house. The woman did not introduce herself, but she seemed to know everything.
