Chapter 256. Dinner and Conversation

Carlos stopped at the landing right when Fiona called herself a princess and he smiled beside him. She was a princess in a way, had always been one. From being born to a rich family, even though that family was run by a bastard like Clyde McCarthy, to being pampered by her kidnapper she had the aura of someone that should be pampered and should tell you what to do even though she could not actually make you obey her. Not literally at least.

His smile spread even more and he had to pull himself together. It wasn’t too difficult to stop the smiles when he got hear the rest of their conversation. Carlos was only here to pick something up and return back to work and he’d decided to pay a visit to the person who had occupied his mind quite a lot for the past few hours.

He was pretty confused for a while but he knew that Lo never quite liked Fiona and for good reason too but he couldn’t help but feel protective of Fiona. After a while though he figured that his was hel
