Fiona was confused, she wasn’t quite sure if she was saddened or happy for the last interaction that she’d had with Carlos. She could count the pros and cons and still not know entirely how she felt. He had come down specifically to check up on her, that could not be denied. And that made her feel so happy, she almost believed that all her hope had paid up and she would have what she’d wanted all along. And then he’d let her kiss him.
