Chapter 21

The clock was ticking, and as Orion looked through the scripts that were sent over by his company, he couldn't help but feel frustrated. All he wanted was a month off from his projects and anything work-related. But there he was, flipping through the booklets with a heavy heart. As he scanned through the papers, he heard a knock on the door behind him. It was Cooper, leaning in with a soft smile, hoping to make his presence pleasing.

Orion's voice was tinged with annoyance as he asked, "Yes?"

Cooper hesitated for a moment before saying, "Well… There is a delivery for you. I thought I should bring it over before I leave for the day."

Orion glanced at his hands, and he could tell that it was a file inside the brown paper bag. "Bring it in," he said, and walked up to his desk to take a seat. He reached out for the cutter on his desk as Cooper placed the bag on the table. After ripping off the seal of the paper bag, he quickly opened the file to check its contents.
