Chapter 25
Her hand was tightly clenched, but blood still dripped through her fingers. She frowned deeply and gritted her teeth, the pain intense from the deep wound. As she walked past the sitting lounge, she searched earnestly for someone who could help her. Luckily, in the distance, she heard the sound of approaching footsteps. Relief flooded her as she noticed a woman with short hair and a clear, white face walking down the stairs. Her skin was oddly pale.
"Aria! I am so glad I found you!" she exclaimed in a relieved tone. Aria halted, looking horrified at the sight of the woman with blood-stained clothes. "Oh! Lea! Are you alright? How did this happen?" Aria's voice was soft and kind, but she seemed breathless as if under a heavy weight. She approached her quickly, brushing her hand against Azalea's shoulder as she got closer.
