“Hi,” Aria finally got a chance to talk alone with the receptionist. The woman recognised her from earlier in the morning.

“Good morning. How may I serve you?”

“Uhm…” Aria looked around before talking comfortably. “I actually kind of locked myself out of my room upstairs…” She trailed.

“Oh. What’s your room number, I’ll check for an extra key.”

“Room 109,” Aria said, and watched as the woman sorted through a bunch of them to find it. “Thanks,” She received the card from her and walked away to a short distance before turning back to her.

“Were you the one who checked me in last night?” She asked and caught the woman’s brow edge with confusion.

“What?” She asked politely so Aria came back to her.

“What I mean is… Well, last night I was pretty drunk and I don’t quite remember how I got here…do you perhaps know if I came here with anyone? Maybe two men? One taller than the other?”
