The moment she stepped into the bathroom, she saw more than she could from far before; the broken mirror and the shattered glass shelf. There was so much glass everywhere. Her eyes strolled down to the candle jar in pieces at her feet, together with perfume bottles, its smell still sharp in the air.

She inhaled slowly, eyes narrowing.

“This is… quite a mess,” she murmured to herself.

She knelt carefully and started to pick up the bigger glasses at first, but then stood again after a while. She reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone.
