Chapter 62
She didn’t want to let go, of the scent of him, of the heat from him, she didn’t want to. She stayed buried beneath him, lost in that world for a moment till he said something she thought stupid.
“I’m sorry,” He muttered in her ear and she wondered what he was sorry for.
“What for?” She asked, voice against his neck.
“Almost killing Ferro. I just realised I never did apologise to you for hurting you that day.”
Aria scoffed beneath him, amused by his timing. “Get off,” She pushed at him and he got up from over her.
She rolled to the other side of the bed and lay still on her own for a while before throwing her legs off the bed. She stood to go to the bathroom but her knees still felt weak after what they had just shared so she sat back down with a quiet sigh.
Cole figured out what she wanted to do and got out of bed through his side, going around the bed and coming to pick her up. She let out a shocked gasp after he picked her up from the bed witho
