Chapter 61
Now, he stood there wondering if she really did it or if he was just imagining things. His chest heaved and fell through every deep breath he maintained now, trying to calm his system and fight his dangerously clawing wolf within him.
The elevator dinged when they got to their floor before its doors slowly opened. The woman between them walked out first and Aria followed. Cole hesitated, fearing her rejection but he walked out anyway.
The woman found her door and went in. Aria walked to hers and Cole followed and just after she had unlocked her door and was about to go in, she turned to him.
“And where do you think you’re going?” She asked and he held his breath. When he didn’t answer, Aria squinted her eyes at him. “Where have you been staying all this time you’ve been following me around?”
