Chapter 25

“It’s our cake tasting today, babe! Aren’t you excited?!” Ashley jumped on their bed multiple times just so she could awaken Kean who was still sleeping soundly. Kean was even snoozing, and his mouth was opened as he slept.

“Babe, hmm...” Kean’s brows furrowed even though both his eyes were still closed. “It’s still too early for it, babe... let’s sleep more, please?” It was evident in his husky voice that he was still too sleepy to function.

“Babe, you promised to me last night that we’re going to have our breakfast first before this cake tasting...” Ashley could not help but sigh deeply. She also intended that sigh to be louder than her usual sighs just so Kean would feel bad if he still did not get up from the bed. And just as she expected, that sigh worked.

“Okay, okay... I’m getting up already...” Kean then stretched his body before he finally stood up. He planted a kiss on Ashley’s right cheek and immediately went to the bathroom to finally take a shower.
