“Are you sure... you are already okay? You don’t need anything?” Kean caressed Ashley’s face. It was very evident that he was worried because of the way he was looking at her. It was as if he was willing to do everything just so he could take away what she was feeling at the moment. If he could take those feelings from her and carry them, just so she would not feel hurt, he would do so.

They were currently back in their hotel room, and thankfully, Ashley was already calmer compared to the state she was in earlier. Kean wanted to ask her so many questions—why did she have a panic attack? What triggered her? What was it that he still didn’t know about her that made her react the way she did earlier? Obviously, he was worried and hurt by the fact that they were already engaged, and yet, he still didn’t know everything about her. But because he felt like asking Ashley would just remind her of her trauma and trigger another panic attack, he decided not to.
