Noella’s POV

“Isn’t it fun, Logan?! Feel the wind scramble around you, toying with the hairs on your body and sending electric sparks through your body. Your being feels alive!”

I was alive, the wind coursed through my fur and hit my bare skin gently underneath causing a vibration of electricity waves up and down my limbs.

The feeling was natural and full of organic healing like no other. I felt refreshed, revitalized and clean all together, the peace I was longing for seeming so close I could reach it and grab it close.

I nudged Logan closer and nuzzled his neck with my head. We had transformed to our wolf forms for the first time together and I never knew I could feel so alive once again, amidst all the hassles and pain Austin was putting me through.

“Let’s get going.” It was time to head back, since we had had enough fun and soon humans might decide to stroll into the bush, for the same good air we had sought to enjoy.
