Chapter 99

Noella’s POV

I raced into the hospital, Logan following suite. I could not hold him close to me but I managed to keep an eye on him while I searched for Austin’s ward. I had not bothered with telling Logan what had happened and he had not bothered to ask.

I searched each hospital room as I ran across the first hallway at the last floor, but Austin was not in any of them. My phone was not on me as I had dropped it after Max’s call and not even cared to pick it up again.

“Mrs. Noella.”

I turned to the voice with gratitude as I saw Max approaching me.

“Where’s Austin? Is he okay?” I was more than hysterical.

“Yes, he is doing fine already. The doctor in charge said the accident had not caused any serious or permanent damages to his body and organs. Please calm down.”

I was more than relieved on hearing that, it felt like a whole barbell had been lifted from my chest.

Just then the doctor walked down from the second floor towards us
