Minka couldn’t sleep. She got up and turned on her bedside lamp. There was no way she could sleep with the knowledge that Aiden Turner was dating his secretary, Cassie Moss. How could he do this to her?

She cried. She’d never let anyone see this vulnerable side of her. She’d tried so hard to get Aiden to fall for her but had always been ignored by him. He’d always given the excuse that he wasn’t a relationship person. Yet he’d dated Mira and was currently in a relationship with Cassie. It was better Aiden remained with Mira than date his loud-mouth secretary, Cassie. Minka couldn’t stand her.

She opened one of her drawers and brought out some sleeping medications. She had to induce sleep or would stay up thinking about Aiden and Cassie. There was no way she would let Aiden’s new relationship work. Never!
