Chapter 98. Bail Money

With my heart thinking in my chest, I waited for the bus. It felt like I was wasting time, but it soon arrived. It was full; far from empty. 

This had me second guessing if taking the bus was the right thing to do. But I sucked it up, adjusted the hoodie, making sure that my hair was covered, and also half of my forehead.

I made my way into the bus, going to the only seat that was available. But before sitting there, someone beat me to it. It was a guy and he had entered before I had. 

I sighed, and then ended up standing. A few people stared at me, but they soon looked away. I was very nervous, and I was doing a lot of overthinking.
