Chapter 105. All in My Head
She was very much real. I was not the kind of person who would hallucinate or see things that weren’t real. I mean, that’s the definition of hallucinations, but you know what I mean.
And believe me, I have been through a lot of sh*tty things. Before I had found out and confronted my mom about dad cheating on her, I used to be her punching bag.
Verbally. Emotionally. And there were times when she would hit me so hard and all I would worry about would be what I would wear the next day that would hide the bruises or marks.
Let’s not forget that I was bullied severely too. My life was a living hell in High school. And I had thought college would be better, but it was just the same—just with older kids.
