Chapter 106. Ignorance Is Bliss

I waited with bated breath to hear what the former alpha who was now the alpha of the pack, had to say. He watched me with a look on his face.

“I need you to help us, you’re the savior for the pack, right?” He cleared his throat and adjusted himself in the chair he was sitting in. 

“You threw me, my sister and friend in prison and you want me to help you? You could have stopped all of this if you would have just put aside your pride and confessed to what you did years ago, but no.”

He sighed, running his hand through his hair. “I know, I messed up. I thought—I thought we could fight the witches; I thought we could take them. But they have grown stronger over the years. My men are dying, and they’re destroying our town.”

“I don’t know what you want me to do.” I shrugged.

“I need you to help, that’s what I want you to do. I need you to help stop this.”

“From behind bars?” I raised a brow for a second before scoffing.

“I’m going to release you.”<
