It has been twelve hours and fifteen minutes since I left NYC for Miami and as anyone could guess, I was taking a long road trip, one that was not as much as planned yet, needed. I needed to take a break from everything that was happening at the moment and go see someone whom I had not visited in a long time and driving this much seemed to do it for me.
The soft sound of Luther Vandross I’d Rather accompany my spontaneous ride in the jet-black Nissan GT-R which I drive along the highway which stretches ahead, falling into the rhythm of the road. The changing landscapes outside my window seem to mirror the evolution of my own life these few weeks.
My mind drifts to the thought of her for the umpteenth time and again, I contemplate calling her which upon many attempts had successfully been redirected to tons of voicemails one more message would be sick of me.
