Ryan dumped the document at me, his ears were red, and his eyes flared up in disappointment as he paced about. “That is so ridiculous. How could they make you sign something like this all because of some kind of marriage convenience?”
I took a peep at the document. It was the same one that my secretary had dropped with me to sign, stipulating conditions that if I ever wanted out of the relationship, the Russells would be taking seventy percent of the property. This was just one alongside other stupid conditions that the document had all when Ryan was vexing, I could understand his resentment and anger.
