Sapphire Watterson
I trailed my gaze on the unknown man suspiciously, wondering how he got into the house which I was so sure was only accessible to Andrew Blake. The man stepped into full view, his eyes narrowed inquisitively at me. There was something eerily about him when he looked at me, hands stuck into the pocket of his fitted office pants which he wore over a long-sleeve button-up shirt that fitted his broad shoulders, and brown waistcoat complimenting his tweeds. He had a chiseled jaw, the greenest eyes I have ever seen, and full lips curled into a sneer.
He was handsome. I would give him that. But as far as I knew, he was probably a handsome burglar astounded to see me in this house more than being risked caught and taken to the cops.
“Now, who do we have here?” he held his chin, giving me a straight look.
“I wouldn’t know. You’re the burglar so answer your question. Who are you and what are you doing here?” My hands clasped the weapon tighter
