Chapter 49. Sorry, Aiden
That morning Agneta woke up from her sleep; she rubbed her eyes, sore from crying last night. She directed her eyes to the room before her where the bed was empty, and no one occupied it. Maybe Dave had already left, she thought. Agneta was about to get up from the bed, but her movement stopped when she saw a red rose on the nightstand. She took it and frowned slightly.
"Flowers from whom? Why is it here?" she muttered.
Agneta had thought it was from Dave, but she quickly brushed it off because Dave wouldn't do that.
"Maybe this is Regan's doing," she muttered, heading to the bathroom.
Agneta was getting off the elevator into her room when someone grabbed her arm and led her into another room.
"Aiden, let go of my hand!" said Agneta.
