Chapter 89. Catherine Kidnapped

Catherine was shocked when she saw Aiden come out of the room. Their gazes met and drifted away from each other.

"Mine's asleep!" Aiden exclaimed, to which Catherine nodded.

Perhaps Catherine was too busy with her thoughts to realize that Mine was already asleep.

    "Aiden. I want to talk," Catherine said.

    "Okay. Let's talk in the park," said Aiden.

The two of them walked to the garden, which was not far from Mine's room. They took a seat on the lawn chairs next to each other.

"Aiden, why don't you tell Mine the truth that you're her real dad?" Catherine said.

"I didn't want to shock her. She just woke up. I'll tell her slowly later, after she gets out of the hospital."

Catherine nodded in understanding. "I'll give you a chance to get closer to him," Catherine exclaimed, despite the pain in her heart.

“Cath, I'm sorry for making things difficult for you for the past five years," Aiden said.
