Chapter 62. To Be Replaced

Rico stepped into his office and shut the door. He inhaled and received the call, placing the phone to his ear. “How is it going?” He asked, before the person’s voice came.

“Boss, we did as you asked. Each box is loaded with explosives,” Matteo replied, his voice in a whisper.

Rico sighed and nodded. “Good.”

He had minimized the circle of strategizing to just himself, Ezio, Valentina, Matteo, and one other trusted man.

Marco Bellini clearly stated that he had a mole in Rico’s team, and since Rico hasn’t figured out who it was, it would be better to share less information with just anybody. He would lure the person out.

He had the next shipments of weapons switched with explosives. If the warehouse is raided, the bomb will go off and Marco’s men will be wiped out.
