Chapter 26. Another Misunderstanding and an Old Recollection
Embarrassed, I am about to run off when he pulls me back to him, wrapping his arms around my waist, then pulling off my scarf down, looking over at my mark.
“It doesn’t hurt,” I reassure him, wrapping my arms around his neck. “But Ben?”
“Hmm?”
He looks in such a good mood. It is rare to see him smile like this. I decide to change the topic instead. “Ben Farrington sounds a bit tacky, isn’t it?”
“It’s actually Benjamin, but I would love it if you call me Ben,” he says, and I nod in agreement.
After breakfast, Ben insists on dropping me off at my workplace before leaving for his own. Half of the day, I am smiling and blushing like crazy, but the other half, I have a few things that I want to talk to him about. What does this mean for us?
