Chapter 33. A Sweet Proposal

We reach their place, and as always, Isabella and Max welcome us wholeheartedly. Both made sure to hand me over the gifts they got me before we settled down together on the couch.

Jacob and Mia were also invited.

Ben was sitting right next to me and was casually playing with my fingers with his one hand while the other was lazily resting on the head of the couch around me. I tried to participate in the conversation as much as possible, but he wasn’t really making this easy.
