Chapter 55. Three Hundred-Sixty-Five Days
(A year later)
My shop has been thriving, and I have been getting a number of orders. After opening the shop, I also hired a few more employees and extended my bakery to two floors of the building.
As I stepped outside the kitchen, my employee was talking on the phone taking orders.
“Good morning, we’re from Midnight Bakery. How can I help you today?” She asks, passing me a smile. “A wedding order?”
I stop midway and turn around, walking closer to her. She looked excited, too, but kept her tone professional. “Of course, sir. When would you be visiting us?”
“Yes, sir, we keep our bakery open till midnight.”
“Sure, sir. Have a good day.”
She ends the call and shouts excitedly, “We got ourselves a wedding order.”
All the employees start clapping and then resume our work. After tying my hair up I ask Mia about the customer. She explains that he just mentioned that he would visit the shop. Odd, but okay. Then we got busy again the whole day
