Mike exchanged concerned looks with the others, then nodded in Charlotte’s direction. The woman looked almost relieved, put the slate away and continued the conversation. After nearly an hour-long sales pitch about the many benefits of living in Avalon, Mike informed her that he had plenty of things to think about and would like to speak with her again on the matter tomorrow.
