Chapter 13

Three girls and two boys made up a total of five children.

"Who is she, then?" He was asked by the girl who had noticed me first.

"The wonderful Dr. Crystal Richards here, kids." Then he turned to me and said, "The two youngest girls are Vivian and Lilian. Those are Rick and James, the two boys. Vicky is the eldest. Say hi, youngsters!"

"Hiiii," they yelled as they waved at me.

"Hey, y'all. One of these days, I'll be a volunteer, too. I'm hoping you guys can give me a tour," I remarked.

They remained silent and gazed about at one another.

"Is she your girlfriend?" Adam was asked by Vivian.

I snorted, "Pfft, he wishes."

"Well, that may happen; you never know." He was smirking at me.

Rick lamented, "It's a waste; you're a beautiful lady."

"Maybe when I get older, we can get married," James said.
