"Yes, sir?" she asked and then closed the door.

“Let's have a chat, Crystal. What’s the issue?”

"I don't know what you're talking about." She turned aside. "Is there a problem?"

"Why are you ignoring me?" I asked as I got out of my seat and approached her.

"I don't think I ignored you. It must have been in your head," she argued.

She flinched as I slapped my hand on the door. I sighed and said, "You weren't next to me when I woke. I had serious concerns. Why did you keep quiet?”

“Should I have said something? I had been acting as one could have anticipated.”

"And what could that possibly be?" My arms were crossed.

"Pretend like it never happened. I did it again without meaning to, and we eventually made love.” She looked down at her feet and said, "You were going to move on to another girl anyway."
