Chapter 44. Hammer Time

HAZEL’S POV

After I had returned from my captivity, the following morning, I swung into action, laying down my plans on how to break into Stella’s place and steal her potions.

I spent that day with her, feigning enthusiastic interest in her witchy juju.

She was surprised that I was interested in her witchy things and she looked very eager and excited to tell me and teach me. At some point, I felt bad because I did not mean this. These weren’t for the right reasons. I was only here solely to know where she stored her potions when she made them before she sent them out for delivery.

I needed the ones that helped with rogue bites and venoms.

I learned quite a few things from her.

On the second day after I returned to my pack, at night, I pretended to be asleep beside Ervin. When it was past midnight, I stood up and tiptoed around the room.

I grabbed a robe with a hood that would help shield my face from any light so that no one would see me.
