Chapter 9
Sitting across from Imani at the candlelit table with the full moon casting a bright light over them, caused Edmond to reminisce about his first date with Juliana. They were both new to relationships and had no idea where to go or what to do for their first date so he suggested they had dinner at his house. It would be private, intimate and romantic. And, Juliana didn't really like eating out, so it was the perfect idea.
Edmond had considered hiring a cook to prepare the meals, but eventually decided against it and made up his mind to cook himself. He was not a very good cook, but he was not so bad either. What he didn't expect was for Juliana to show up an hour early with the intention of helping him out with the cooking despite his objections. She was a very stubborn woman though he was glad she offered to help.
