Their jaws hung open, and if it weren’t for how serious they seemed to be, I would’ve burst into laughter at the comical looks on both their faces.

“I wish I was trying to pull a fast one on the both of you, but I’m being serious. A lot has happened these past few weeks, and I’m sorry that I’ve kept the both of you in the dark all along.”

Today was Aria’s day off, and the party wasn’t going to be held until later at night. Jasmine and Valerie had decided to pay her an impromptu visit after she announced that she had most of today to herself with nothing of importance to do.

The look on their faces as they knocked on my door, only for Eros to open it, was one of shock as they shrieked in horror, thinking the worst had already happened. Aria had to bolt out from her bedroom to address the screams that had disturbed quite a few neighbors.
