I was about to venture into some deep cleaning to get my mind off Natasha. They say doing things you don’t like helps to take your mind off things and people.

So I started scrubbing the floors like I was Cinderella in the Disney movie. I hated cleaning floors with every fiber of my being. Every brush against the wall, the contrasting colors between the light blue color of the brush and the deep brown hard floor reminded me of Natasha’s brown hair.

I left the brush and went to grab a bucket of water. I went out and decided to wash my car instead.

I opened the car door to get the little mat out and a cufflink rolled out. I remember looking for this when I was attending an event for the new contract I signed with another company about ten months ago.
