NATASHA’S POV

I was picking the eggs from the chicken coop while trying to avoid the claws of one of the cockerels when I saw two figures approaching the ranch.

I could make out their figures from the net in the coop, it looked like a man and a woman.

I got out of the coop and saw the figures. The mayor and Penny.

Oh no.

If they were thinking about negotiating the ranch, they would leave her unhappy and I might throw some hands but I can only hope for the best.

I started walking towards them, they didn’t even wait for me to open the gates and they just let themselves in.

“Just because you’re the mayor doesn’t mean you have the right to come into my property without my consent but we’ll leave that for now. To what do I owe this visit sir?” I said, keeping my eyes and the mayor and not sparing his brat daughter a glance.

“Nice ranch miss Boyle, glad to see it’s up and running.” He said and let out a sarcastic snort while his daughter lau
