Chapter 28
HEPHAESTUS POV
I watched her as she tried to stand up from where I had laid her. “If you don't stop being stubborn, you'll be stuck here longer.” I threatened.
I could count how many times she tried to stand on her legs. She either wanted to cook or stretch or just do something that would make her soreness worse. It was hard taking care of her energetic self.
Natasha was a strong-headed lady, she has been insisting that she was ready to walk but there has not been any signs of improvement. “Urgh, I hate that you are right,” she muttered before laying back.
These past few days have been us bickering, and playing ‘weird’ human games. She had told me all her childhood memories, even a blind person would notice how restless Nat was. She told me how she jumped a fence and landed on her butt and how Nana had scolded her but still took care of her.
“I am not used to being babysitted, I need to do something,” she said again. “Do you want to knit or something?”
