Chapter 149. The Champion of Sponsorship
Red's sword sliced through the piece of wood thrown by Iram. The girl's movements became smoother and faster, and of course she hit her target. Iram clapped his hands as Red finished her training for the day. Speed picked up the pieces of wood scattered on the ground.
"Well, I won't have to go to the trouble of cutting them into smaller pieces," Speed joked. "You could be my lumberjack, Red."
Red chuckled softly. "Really? I'm talented, huh?"
"Yes, but I need to sharpen that katana more often. The sap from the wood can dull the blade," Speed sighed. "Leave the katana here and pick it up tomorrow afternoon. I'll sharpen it tonight."
"Don't you have another grindstone? I want to learn to sharpen my own sword."
"I do," Speed nodded. "I'll show you how."
"That's great."
