Chapter 169. The Extreme Weather

"Extreme weather, my ass," Fiona grumbled. "We're freezing and almost blind out here."

"And unarmed," Red complained.

Only Red and Fiona were weaponless, though the two Assassins had theirs. Red still had Aamon's small dagger in her boot; she never forgot that. But a dagger wouldn't help against this extreme cold.

Fiona fiddled with her bracelet. "This thing isn't advanced enough to emit light? How can it transfer eire online but not—"

A white light suddenly shone from the bracelet's screen, and Fiona jumped in surprise. Everyone on the stairs had the same reaction.

"All this time, I've been living in Ohm, and I didn't know the bracelet could provide light," Anneth muttered, half annoyed. "I swear I pushed every button when we were in Jurassic."

"The bracelet was upgraded, I suppose?" Aamon shrugged. "Although I have no idea how they did it."
