Chapter 16. Accident

Emery’s POV

My head is hurting so bad. I feel like it’s going to explode. The sunlight isn’t even helping and is only making it worse.

I angrily got off the bed and walked towards the window like a freaking zombie. I closed the blinds and dropped my body on the bed again.

I’m jobless. That’s what made me open my eyes again.

I stared at the ceiling thinking about everything that happened last night. I got wasted. I punched Terrence, cursed him and even threw up on his pants. After that we went home. He carried me to my room and woke up a female house help to change my clothes.

Sighing, I cupped my aching head and grabbed my hair. I need to find a way to get my company back and I remember Terrence asking about it last night.

I grabbed my phone from the bedside table and dialed Terrence’s number.

[Emery…]

I bit my bottom lip. Why does his voice sound so sexy?

I cleared my throat. “Where are you?”

[Office. Why?]
