Chapter 17. Unfortunately Jobless

Emery’s POV

It’s just a normal accident, but why can I see the man riding the motorcycle staring at me creepily. I’m sitting behind the opened ambulance while the medic was giving me first aid. The man riding the motorcycle wasn’t hurt. He just had bruises on his arm and the police are talking to him. Strangely, his eyes were on me.

“Ouch!” I growled at the female medic when she moved my arm.

“Sorry…”

I pursed my lips and looked around. From the other side of the road, I saw Terrence getting out of his car with a creased forehead. His eyes immediately found me and he jogged towards my direction.

My lips parted, realizing how hot and handsome he was while jogging towards me as his hair dances in the air every time he moves.

“What happened?” He panted a little when he stopped in front of me.

I looked away and my eyes landed on my car. “Just a minor accident.”

“Minor? I can see that you’re badly injured, Em.”
