Chapter 119. Will You Marry Me?

An hour and a few minutes later, Mark and I were clean and in our robes as we lay on the bed. He had made hot chocolate and we were sipping them as we watched a funny show on the TV.

It was called Friends and it was one of my favorite TV shows. Mark knew this and even though I had already completed it, I still loved watching it over and over.

In my opinion, it was the best show ever, the best thing that man made. Or yeah, maybe I was exaggerating, but I didn’t care.

“Hey, Lisa?” Mark called for me and I looked at him. He smiled warmly and I could not help but do the same. “I love you so much.”

A warm feeling filled my chest and I felt like I was floating on clouds as butterflies danced in my stomach. This man was truly the love of my life, and I wished that everything would have gone differently, because that would have meant that we would have been married by now.

“I think we should talk.”

His smile wavered a bit and I could see the nervousness captured
